BICYCLE ROAD EXTENSION: BCS Inc. officers walked the foreshore route in 2007-09 with the MPs below, to show why Bayside Council and BCS Inc. want the Department of Sustainability and Environment and VicRoads to co-operate to save the foreshore by VicRoads extending Beach Rd’s 2-lane motor traffic Safety Section to make room for the bicycle road on Beach Rd.

Bayside Council rejected a staff plan whose blue lines show bicycle road extension bisecting the foreshore, to fragment Bayside’s longest section free of concrete, buildings or car parks.
