2011: The Age of 2011-09-26 reported that the vacant land of 1,570 square metres at 16-17 Beach Road, Beaumaris, was passed in to a vendor’s bid for $1,250,000 with an undisclosed reserve price at a weekend auction by Hocking Stuart.

 

 

2006: For 16 Beach Road, Beaumaris, Application No. 959/2006 was lodged by Alice Penna on 2006-12-05 for two 2-storey attached dwellings with a basement car park, and roof decks in a Design and Development Overlay 1 and removal of vegetation in a Vegetation Protection Overlay 3. This land was Lot 7 of the original Deauville Estate. See the pre-1926 promotional brochureThe Bayside Neighbourhood Character Precinct is Precinct 7. A similar proposal for 17 Beach Road, adjoining it to the east, is apparently a conjoint development.
