MINUTES OF THE 9TH ANNUAL GENERAL MEETING OF THE BEAUMARIS TREE PRESERVATION SOCIETY, 
HELD AT 27 DALGETTY ROAD, BEAUMARIS, ON WEDNESDAY 1ST NOVEMBER 1961

Minutes The minutes of the previous Annual General meeting held on 30/11/1960 were read. Proposed Mr. (Edward) Hassett & seconded Mr. (William) Leech that minutes be accepted as correct. 
Treasurer's  
Report		 The Treasurer presented a statement of Receipts & Expenditure for the year which showed a credit balance of £137-12-6. 
Moved by Mr (Edward) Hassett seconded  Mrs (Edith [Bea]) Hosking that report be received.
Chairmans 
Report		 The Chairman, Mr (Colin) Macrae, read his Annual Report as President of this Society. He outlined the Society's activities of the year, which embraced the Foreshore, Gramatan Ave Reserve and Street Tree Planting, Lectures and Publicity in the Newsletter. Finally he thanked the Secretary and Committee members for their assistance throughout the year.
