Resolved that letter be written to Mayor of Sand. advising him that Red Cross Appeal outside our field of activities but members may assist individually. Resolved that letter be written to Community Centre Committee requesting their support in letter to Council protesting at destruction of unnecessary tea tree at Community Centre. | Chairman's
Report |
Mr (Colin)
Macrae read the President's Report. He outlined the Society's
activities
which were concentrated on the Plant Show. This proved very successful
in the Community Cenre with more space for display and better
facilities
for the workers and nurserymen. the Foreshore and Gramatan Avenue
Sanctuary.
Mr (Colin) Macrae thanked the
Secretary
and members for their support throughout the year.
