MINUTES OF THE 27TH ANNUAL GENERAL MEETING OF THE BEAUMARIS CONSERVATION SOCIETY  
HELD AT 21 CLONMORE ST. BEAUMARIS AT 8 P.M. ON 21ST SEPTEMBER 1979

MINUTES: Resolved (B.(Barbara) Cook/D.Cook) that the minutes of the 26th Annual General Meeting be confirmed.
PRESIDENT’S REPORT: Resolved (G. (Geoffrey) Goode/B.(Bea) Hosking) that Mr Paul Weir’s Report be accepted.
TREASURER’S REPORT: Resolved (Tarrant/Johnston) that Mrs Barbara Cook’s Report be accepted.
ELECTIONS: There being no other candidates the following Office-bearers were elected unopposed: 
President: Mr G. (Geoffrey) Goode           Secretary: Mr R. (Rodney) Bryant 
Treasurer: Mrs B. (Bea) Hosking             Vice-President: Mr J. (John) Messer
PPCC DELEGATES: The continuation of Messrs (Geoffrey) Goode and (Paul) Weir as Delegates was approved. Messrs (Rodney) Bryant and (John) Messer were appointed Substitute Delegates.
ACF REPRESENTATIVE: The continuation of Mr Paul Weir in this position was approved.
CCV DELEGATE: Mr W. (William) Johnston was appointed CCV Delegate.
HEATHLAND SANCTUARY: Resolved (Weir/Goode) ‘that Cr (Laurence) Bottomley be assured in writing of the state of repair of the Gramatan Avenue Sanctuary’ & ‘that at the next working bee on 29th September 1979 a small metal sign be wired to each frontage fence saying " to arrange inspection ring 993868 or 991802 " and that Cr Bottomley be informed of this in writing with a photograph attached.’
TARGET STORE: Resolved unanimously (Tarrant/Bryant) that BCS supports Sandringham Council’s opposition to a Target Store, Bay Rd.
SUBSCRIPTION: Resolved (Hosking/Weir) that the 1979-80 fee be $3-00.
